“It’s all about the Journey,
not the Destination” – Satan’s Angel
Angel Cecelia Helene Walker
September 18, 1944 – April 11, 2019
Satan’s Angel came out of retirement to produce her play, Have Tassels Will Travel in 2000.
Dixie Evans and Angel corresponded for about a year or so around that time. She went to visit Dixie in 2001 and Dixie talked Angel into doing a show, eventually.
She attended Miss Exotic World in Helendale in 2002, but didn’t perform due to heat stroke (It was only 128 in the shade!).
She began to revitalize her act with Tease-O-Rama 2003, then onto Miss Exotic World in 2004 until her passing.
In 2007, Angel won “America’s Most Outrageous Talent” award on The Maury Povich Show.
In 2009, Angel received the “Legend Award” for Life Time Achievement in Burlesque, marking my passion of keeping the fire of this American art alive.
In 2012, a documentary film about Angel’s life as a burlesque performer was released, Satan’s Angel: The Movie. Later that year, she returned to be retired.
